Three women sailed to international waters

This morning three women embarked on the Women on Waves ship to sail to the high, free seas. The ship was accompanied by three other boats filled with press. In international waters, the ship is ruled by Dutch law. Under Dutch law, women with unwanted pregnancies can take the abortion pill free of charge and without the permission of a psychiatrist that is required by Spanish law.
After 7 hours the ship returned in port safely and the women went home. Sunday from 11 till 14.00 the public will have the opportunity to see the ship inside in the Americans cup harbor of Valencia. On Monday the ship will sail again with women in need of help.
