Late Night Action to Publicize Hotline

In the night before the hotline launch, and a group of activists pasted fliers with the hotline number in the central streets of Buenos Aires. Getting the information into the streets is always an important way to reach women who may need it.

Sometime around mid-night, a group of feminist activists armed with fliers and glue went out to paste publicity for the hotline in the space most accessed by women from all social and economic groups - the streets of downtown. Interfering with advertisements and making the number available to women has already yielded results. The following morning there has already been a call to the hotline. This is an indication of the magnitude of the need for reliable information to be available to women in Argentina.
